Terms of use

1. Who provides the service

BeeDiary (the “app”) is provided by MCo d.o.o., Kraljevačkih žrtava 5, Beograd, Serbia, tax identification number (PIB) 106639869, company registration number (MB) 20649992.

2. What the service is

BeeDiary is a beekeeping diary. It enables a beekeeper to keep records of apiaries, hives, colonies and work carried out, and to track income and expenses.

The app also works without an internet connection: entries are stored on the device and sent to our server when a connection is available.

The app does not provide veterinary, agronomic or financial advice. Decisions on treating colonies, using medicinal products and observing withdrawal periods are yours to make, in accordance with the regulations of your country and the manufacturer’s instructions for the product. Withdrawal period information in the app is a reminder, not an authorisation.

3. Account

An account is required to use the app. When you create an account, we ask only for an email address and a password.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. If you suspect that someone else has accessed your account, notify us immediately.

An account may be created by a person who has reached the age of 16. Persons under that age require the consent of a parent or guardian.

4. Your data remain yours

The data you enter into the app are and remain yours. We store them and display them to you. We do not sell them, we do not share them with third parties for advertising, and we do not use them for profiling.

At any time you may export your account data yourself (“More” → “Report and export”), request an export of other data, or delete your account.

5. Plans and payment

The free plan allows you to keep a diary for up to 500 hives. Paid plans provide higher limits, more team members and connection to eKošnica devices.

Paid plans are not yet on sale; prices and limits will be published before they become available. If we change them, we will notify you by email of any change that affects you at least 30 days in advance, and you may then terminate your use of the service without any obligation.

Moving to a smaller plan does not delete any data. If you exceed the limit of the smaller plan, your existing data remain visible, but new entries above the limit are refused until the situation is brought into line.

6. Team

The account owner may invite helpers and decide what they can see — whether they see the finances and which apiaries. The owner is responsible for whom they invite and for the data they thereby make accessible to that person.

7. Prohibited use

Using the app in breach of the law.

Attempting to access other people’s data or to circumvent plan limits.

Burdening the service with automated requests beyond ordinary use.

We may restrict or close an account that breaches these rules, after prior warning — except where the harm is imminent.

8. Availability and liability

We strive to keep the service running without interruption, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, faults and force majeure may occur.

We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence. We are not liable for indirect damage — loss of profit, lost yields, missed opportunities — unless the law provides otherwise.

The app is not a substitute for your own backup. Your data are kept on your device and on our server, and you can export your account data yourself (see the Privacy policy).

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. When you close it, your data are deleted within the periods set out in the Privacy policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We publish changes in the app. We notify you of significant changes by email at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the app after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. Any dispute that is not resolved amicably shall be settled by the court of the Republic of Serbia having subject-matter and territorial jurisdiction.
